I liked 'em in seasons 1and 2, but yeah. Not enjoying it in season 3. In fact I actually haven't watched since 3x04 bc I'm over it.

See, I actually consider myself a fan of the Borgias, as well as an incest shipper, and that fandom makes me backpedal like WHOA. You're absolutely right - the majority of the fandom are C/L shippers, and what's worse, they're teenage C/L shippers who have the collective IQ of a bagel. I wish the rest of the fandom were just as vocal a presence.

Usually I'm not bothered by fictional incest, but this just feels like they realised the fandom ships it, so they decided to do it. I actually started watching this show, because I remember reading the showrunner promising, they won't go there and thought it would be a refreshing take on the Borgias. Welp. (And they want to have their cake and eat it, too because if you want to follow the rumors, then you have to do the father/daughter incest, too imo.)

I was actually looking forward to Lucrezia having a happy (if short) marriage for a change...

(I gave this show up, but hope everyone who wanted the incest is enjoying it at least.)
