YES! And chefs are always loud, gruff and ready to throw everyone out of the kitchen on their ear. Like he's a chef by day and a bouncer by night.

This may be the Gordon Ramsay effect. The thing is... he's a damn good chef who, despite his gruffness and no-bullshit attitude, genuinely cares about the restaurant biz and the people in it (if you mistreat your staff he will tear you a new one, for example.) Most of the people who emulate him only emulate the gruffness, not the competence or the compassion.
