(Anonymous) 2013-05-18 01:19 am (UTC)(link)So you have characters who would be stereotypically homophobic (the Jerkass Sports Captain, Horrible Coach, etc) being accepting and even joking about it. Then there's usually lots of little things in the back ground, like gay couples kissing in the backgrounds of party scenes and girls wanting to be partners with the Hot Girl along with the guys. It's very refreshing in that respect.
