Oh man, that firstly? Because I wasn't watching it on tv with a handy clock to glance up at to see when the episode would end, I was so going to be annoyed if the season had ended with Holmes being in the hospital for relapsing. I mean, I was actually okay with Moriarty winning, despite how close Holmes and Watson were to saving that couple. Downer endings, and heroes having to roll with defeat to learn and rise up from it is one of my favourite things.

Oh oh and referencing the previous case (Sutter), as well as the one where Holmes got a special bee? ha ha YEAH they remember their cases of the week yay ♥

And that secondly so good. Folk have been pulling and theorizing about Moriadler, and I am so glad the show pulled it off! I was so wary about yet another Irene in love with Sherlock, and I was honestly just waiting for this to fuck up with a fridging ("let's make sherlock sad TWICE LOL it's all about sherlock reacting to things"). What an oddly pleasant surprise that not only was it definitely Sherlock being more infatuated with the Adler persona than Adler with Sherlock, but that Moriarty herself also had a somewhat different, if sweet, kind of adoration/appreciation of him.

I bought it. oh yeah I did ♥

On the other hand, why is it that Moriarty's downfall is basically "love". Would this have happened if Elementary had stuck with keeping Moriarty as a dude? A personal visit to someone so similar to them it might as well be love if it weren't for the fact they'd never do that on that channel? I do buy it with these two characters though, that they have blind spots for each other, and thus the third party (Watson) tips the balance in favor of whoever they assist. Still. Still.

Also, good move show. You establish that Moriarty has connections everywhere (yesssss spiderweb thing finally), and leave her "case closed" status off screen, leaving room for her to break out for future seasons. Because hell yes she was cool.

Also I think I found the henchmen dude pretty hot when he was shooting people.

Natalie Dormer though omg I need to see her in more things forever. Which reminds me, man do I need to get caught up on Game of Thrones. I don't like the Tyrells in the books, but man does this actress make me love Margaery like my bias never happened :D ♥
