What the heck? The fandom's view of Snape can be so ridiculous. This whole sex god thing people have with him makes me laugh because lets be honest, he probably died a virgin.

Unless Snape raped someone or hired a hooker, I really can't imagine he went out of his way to try and get down anyone's pants, especially not while pining over Lily... and his lack of hygiene wasn't doing him any favours.

It's my head canon that Snape and Petunia lost their virginity to one another at one of Lily's parties. Lots of alcohol, jealousy and disdain was involved.

Snapunia has got to be one of the worst ship names I've ever seen. It's wonderful.

I can imagine them hatefully making out but I don't think Petunia'd want to go that far with him. She found him gross.

The name is dreadful and well deserved. :)

They do find each other gross, but they're also intrigued, in a 'the closest I can get' sort of way. Because he's a wizard, and she's Lily's sister. There's also the self-hating part of them that says gross is exactly what they deserve. Also, alcohol. They have angry, shameful sex, except for one moment where they both accidentally let their guards down and share a moment of genuine tenderness before they catch themselves and go back to being awful. They dislike each other even more after that. Meanwhile, Lily is busy being awesome and sociable and things, and Snapunia are like, 'argh, I wanna chain her to a wall or something - did I just think that?'

I'm not even kidding, I shipped them so hard back in my HP fandom days. But there was one fic and it was ridiculously fluffy, and that was the last thing I wanted. :( My ship manifesto was: Severus/Petunia - Because they deserve each other.
