I adore RDJ, he seems kind and in a really good place now. The only thing I wish he'd do differently is to be honest about his bisexuality. Seems like he was pretty open about sleeping with men in his past, but since he got Iron Man he's shut right up about it.

I get that it's a big franchise and now it's Disney as well, but I think he should be honest about it. He's such a big star and so liked and charismatic that it would have a really positive impact!

It's likely saying something about it now that he's a big Disney star would hurt his career. And regardless, his sexuality is his; he's not obligated to be open about it for other people's sake.

He's not obligated to do anything, I agree. However he's such a big player that his career probably wouldn't suffer much and it would go a long way to helping the culture in Hollywood change so that actors coming out becomes routine.

I thought he said a few years ago that he never actually was bi, though, that it was just made up for publicity back in the 80s?

Or is that what you mean, that that was a lie and he's being dishonest by denying it?

in jail he specifically asked to be put in lgbt anon program. more likely he's just backpedalling now he's successful.

Hmmm. In that case it is kind of disappointing. Having more openly bi/gay celebrities is always welcome, especially when it's someone as massively popular as he is.
