I like Oda's art style, but oh god, his boobs have gotten worse and worse.... Can we go back to the Alabasta arc days where they bad but not THAT FUCKING AWFUL?

Oda's art has gotten so much creepier in the fanservice department. He's always had exaggerated proportions, but it used to be on both women and men and the women weren't THAT much more exaggerated than the men. Now it's like holy shit what is he even doing.

Yeaah, it can be really annoying, sometimes it's just so in-your-face and badly done I can't believe the author thought it would look good.

I also find it disappointing that action girls in shonen are often depicted very skinny and without any muscles when they're supposed to be super powerful.
Thank god some authors do it right. Mikasa (http://i.imgur.com/UScNvNi.jpg) from Attack on Titan looks wonderful.

OP, the boobs in this case probably bother you because they're not natural for her figure. She has tiny, noodly little arms, and a neck like a twig. If she was physically trying to support those boobs, she would have the back of an 80-year-old grandmother.

In conclusion, she breaks physics.

I actually think Fairy Tail is okay regarding boob fanservice :| Probably cause I've been watching too many terrible anime. At least they kind of have a slope to them, slightly less ball-shaped compared to others.

But lol it's a manga with a plot, I don't expect much from it.

The sad part is that Mashima's art actually used to be a lot better and more realistic in terms of boobs. IMO his peak in art style was in volumes 19-30 or so of Rave Master, and then he started succumbing too much to Oda's influence.

That's the main reason I haven't read Fairy Tail despite loving the hell out of Rave Master-- I just don't like what his art style became.

I'm not very familiar with Fairy Tail, but their chests don't look that exaggerated?
Granted, they're stereotypical "big fanservice boobs," and the rest of the anatomy I could go all day talking about.

But I've seen plenty of thin girls with chests that big.

Also, I think the manga's better on this than the anime. The boobs on the anime are just... Damn, they are the reason I don't watch the damn anime.
