Dany's hair has its off days, but I still love it. For a time I was baffled by her dark eyebrows, until I realized that super-white eyebrows would basically just disappear into her face. I don't know about any other wig complaints; maybe the elaborate hairstyles? But that is actually not as weird as people might assume off the bat. Elaborate hair extensions are a fairly old concept. We have found plenty of archaeological evidence and historical evidence from the European Middle Ages to justify it.

SA

Not sure why I diverted this to talk about Medieval hair extensions. My weirder nerdly habits are showing.

I'm glad you did. I find that fascinating. You could say more! :)

The eyebrows don't bother me. Plenty of people have eyebrows that are much darker than their hair. My hair is a medium brown, but my eyebrows are almost black.

I think it was just the extremely dark eyebrows with the white, white hair that threw me. Cersei's eyebrows look fairly natural to me, despite the color difference.

This is true but almost everyone with super light blonde hair (naturally) does have light eyebrows. They're not light like the hair color, but they're not five shades darker, either.

IME. My sister has always had super super light blonde hair and her eyebrows are only a shade or two darker than her hair. I have dirty blonde hair and med brown eyebrows. Usually they match a little, but super light blonde hair + almost black eyebrows RARELY happens, especially when skin tone plays a role. P:

IMO it's not that big of a deal though, and in and of itself, it has nothing to do with the wigs themselves.

I used to be white-blonde as a child, and while my eyebrows weren't quite as dark as Dany's, they were only maybe a shade or two lighter.

It only bothers me because Martin went on forever about how sparkly special the Targaryen are for having white hair and no one ever have white hair ever how special special special, but the moment the special white hair stopped looking good, it conveniently got changed.

The eyebrows bother me because none of the female actresses have their eyebrows match their hair (well, I haven't really looked at any of the guys except Viserys). Dany and Cersei are just the easiest to notice, but if you look closely at Sansa and Melisandre they don't match either.
