My pet peeve is that Dany and Cersei's eyebrows don't match their hair color. It's the "Legolas thing" all over again. Shit don't work like that in real life (I'm from Sweden, I can tell)... but I guess this is fantasy...

Erm... Maybe not to that extreme extent, but I'm naturally pale blonde and have darker brown eyebrows. It does happen IRL.

My eyebrows are also darker than my natural hair colour. I dye my hair, but by nature, my eybrows are a few shades darker.

Not ten shades darker, though. Don't forget skin tone, too. But also, sunlight plays a key. The longer you are outside the lighter your hair gets.

When my dad got married he had brown eyebrows and his hair was white. He wasn't even 30. He just spent a lot of time outside (doing farm work).

same here.... My eyebrows are nearly black (naturally) and I was born a blonde.

Eh I'm from Norway, I am blonde and I have dark eyebrows...

When I was a child my hair was basically white, it is quite a bit darker now, but my eyebrows does not match my hair colour...

Sure, generally eyebrows are a little darker than hair. But people with the milkiest shades of blonde have so little pigment that it's inevitably missing from their eyebrows and eyelashes too.

Nope. Brown eyebrows, brown eyelashes, blonde arm and leg hair, brown... every other hair... Naturally platinum blonde on top.

Albinos, probably. But it's completely possible to look like Dany IRL.

Go outside a lot, it will happen if you naturally have lighter blonde hair. Mine used to make red apparent but my sister and father--their hair would turn white over the summer. Still had lighter eyebrows though.

I agree. Mine and my mother's hair turns gold-white over the summer and our eyebrows lighten up more. And I burn super easily.

Life is not easy living as a white haired lobster when summer is in full swing.

My best friend from childhood is a natural platinum blonde. She's had the same haircolor since I met her at 8. Her eyebrows are extremely pale and she darkens them.

My uncle and his family are all pale-to-white blond except for one redhead, but their eyebrow and eyelash colours vary from about Dany's colour to invisible. My brother is also very light blond, though not white blond, and once he hit puberty the rest of his hair darkened a lot. Photos of him as a little kid look like he has no eyebrows, but he certainly does as an adult, and dark chest hair too.

I didn't pay much attention to Dany's eyebrows but I actually love how Cersei's are darker ? I feel like it makes her expressions more harsh.

They also left Lucius Malfoy's eyebrows black in the Harry Potter movies. In an interview they mentioned that they had originally bleached his eyebrows as well, but then they disappeared so much that it was startling and even more distracting than the black eyebrows were.

I had to bleach my naturally EXTREMELY dark eyebrows for a role. They ended up a very light ginger. In fact, the tips of my eyebrows never grew back their natural color, so I look like I have no eyebrows at the tips.

There is no way to "slightly" lighten eyebrows.

Cersei's eyebrows are within the plausible range for her dark blonde hair. That blonde isn't terribly flattering- she looks quite significantly older than she did in TSCC- but it's not as cringeworthy as Tyrion's dye job.

Tyrion's hair doesn't bother me so much anymore because goddamn but nothing could be worse than his hair in the pilot.

IA with Cersei's hair not being flattering either. Something about it, this season especially, really bothers me. It's strangely orange-y imo.

Yeah, uh, no. I'm naturally blonde but my eyebrows have always been much darker than the hair on my head. My eyebrows never matched until I started to dye my hair dark.
