I feel like this is doing as much for keeping female superheroes back as anything else.

I mean, in the past few years we've had Power Girl's AMAZING speech to a bunch of kids:

Bucky basically admitting that the only thing holding him together after the Winter Soldier thing IS Natasha:

Kate Bishop trying to juggle being a superhero, being a team leader of a completely fragmented team and being a teenage girl. And talking smack with Clint besides, despite being a little bit in love with him (and I will tear into anyone who says that her being a little in love with him is somehow misogynistic. He's her role model, she saved him from himself, he then saved her from herself. That's bound to make a teenage girl think things): http://oi45.tinypic.com/29uuddx.jpg

I'm sure I could think of more. Those are just the ones off the top of my head.

Kate Bishop <3

tbh I am not down with Clint/Kate as an actual ship, but I find her being a bit in love with him kinda sweet? IDK, I really like their relationship a lot. Then again, Clint and Kate are my two fave superheroes of all time.

If it makes you feel better, Fraction has said that they will never, ever screw.

I don't like the ship either. But I think she does have a kind of harmless, eh...sempai-type crush?

Yeah, I saw something where someone said Pizza Dog will never die and they'll never get together and realized that this was pretty much the series of my dreams. :D

But yeah, ia, ia. Harmless is definitely how I'd describe it, and it's weird to think people think it's misogynistic.
