Re: because in mcu wolverine is totes 5'3", right?
(Anonymous) 2013-05-20 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)Isn't Ruffalo, like, 5'8''? He's not big.
Re: because in mcu wolverine is totes 5'3", right?
(Anonymous) 2013-05-21 12:01 am (UTC)(link)big =/= tall, I believe anon is referring to body mass.
I admit I cringed a little watching the movie seeing him try to look smaller than he was in certain group scenes (it didn't work).
Re: because in mcu wolverine is totes 5'3", right?
Huh. I interpreted those scenes as Ruffalo-as-Bruce deliberately trying to make himself seem non-threatening (see also the way he would adjust and fiddle with his glasses to make himself seem more harmless), with Ruffalo allowing just enough of an air of menace to creep in to remind the viewer that, no, this guy trying to draw in on himself in the corner really could explode.
Re: because in mcu wolverine is totes 5'3", right?
(Anonymous) 2013-05-21 01:56 am (UTC)(link)I honestly don't think the producers/director of the movie gave a shit about how big Ruffalo was in comparison to comics!Banner.
