I've only heard of these; they've never showed up on my dash. In the case that they did show up...yes, I would ignore them. I'd probably feel a bit guilty about it but honestly I'm with everyone else and don't think this could be anything but attention seeking; I can't imagine a post like that coming from someone who is serious about needing or getting help.

I never came across these myself until I started following fitblrs. Now I see a new one at least once a week.

I had to Google that. Maybe you should just unfollow? Though you might like the blog too much to do that.
