Canceled Show Combo! Breaking_In (season 1, the good season, before they ruined it) and The Finder. A bunch of nerdy weirdos solve crimes in a pleasant, laid-back setting with a bright, slightly goofy, light-hearted atmosphere, while also having realistic, adult relationships and growing and maturing as the season goes on.

A lighthearted crime show would be sort of nice. :3

I'm unfamiliar with the shows you mentioned, but now I'm really into the idea that once shows are canceled, they no longer have a clear place to "live" in reality, so they're all transported to a magical dump where all other canceled shows' universes and characters lie.

Is this ALL cancelled shows including longrunners like the L&O Mothership and idk, Gunsmoke; or is it just things that were cancelled early, whether the cancellation was unjust (insert-your-favorite-canned-genre-show, I'll go with The Middleman) or should never have gone beyond the pilot stage if that (like Heil Honey I'm Home).

Actually now I kind of want to see those 4 things in one show.

Yes, every single show that was cut short (even if "short" is 10 seasons as opposed to the 20 that the writers had in mind).

I really love that idea, actually. Someone please make that happen, it's an amazing idea.

That said, I'm going to describe those shows in way too much detail.

Breaking In was a comedy about a high tech security firm run by a crazy rich dude (played by Christian Slater) that focuses on breaking into clients' houses and museums and the like to expose the flaws in their security system. It had a really goofy, wacky sensibility that was essentially driven by the fact that most of the main characters were just really weird nerds who enjoyed being goofy together, and the main protagonist was someone who tried to be cool coming to terms with the fact that he was, in fact, also a weird goofy nerd. It had a really good cast (Trevor Armstrong! Odette Anabile! Michael Rosenbaum as a meathead jock with a heart of gold!) and a lot of heart and it was really, really nerdy without ever being annoying or cloying or fanservicey or obvious about it, and there's episodes that are legitimately heartwarming and affecting and really great, and nobody watched it so they cancelled it after seven episodes when it was finding its stride, and then they brought it back for a second season but only after totally ripping out its heart, and it got cancelled again really quickly.

The Finder was a show (actually a Bones spinoff) about a private detective driven by a psychological compulsion to find things, and his adventures in Florida with a cast of misfits. It had a really laid-back, sun-drenched, light-hearted vibe, it had Michael Clarke Duncan and Geoff Stults solving mysteries and being goofy, it had a serious, realistic relationship between the main character and an intelligent, strong female character without ever looking down on it, and while being laidback, it could also deal with emotion and drama in a really intelligent, slow way - it had characters who really grew and matured, whose relationship visibly changed and altered over the course of the series. Of course Fox aired it totally out of order and it got no viewers and it got cancelled (and of course Michael Clarke Duncan subsequently passed away making it a bit of a moot point - RIP Michael).

So bring them together and you have an intelligent, laidback show about goofy nerds who solve crimes while having realistic, adult relationships with each other. And honestly, that's almost all I want from television.
