I'm not sure what exactly that would look like (and even though I've played the series I'm not sure if it's our world in the future. Hmm), but if AC characters were going to be in Mass Effect I'd be more interested in them appearing in the present or future state of the series. (Mostly because I love the technology and it would be interesting to see them adapt to such a radically different setting. The more radical the better.)
