I try to support works that I like but it's fucking difficult sometimes. I'm perfectly privileged and have a pretty addictive personality - someone could make good money off of me. But no. They just aren't interested.
I was recently reduced to downloading a crappy cam version of Star Trek because I don't intend to watch the movie spoiled for every single scene. I'll go see it on June 13 (release date, no kidding), but yeah, it won't be the same. I understand there may be various factors that prevent synchronizing release dates worldwide, but it sucks, too.
And another EDIT because I have many consecutive feelings about this: It also kills me when they cancel a show because it has low ratings. I watch it! Give me a way to let you know and pay a reasonable price for it.
Watching things on television is so 20th century. I can't believe the producers and distributors and whoever else deals with this failed to adapt properly.
