Also, I don't think it makes you weird to find him attractive, apparently loads of people on tumblr do.

I wouldn't know - tumblr is not my thing. All I ever hear is how ugly people think he is. As for his acting - I really loved him in Sherlock and ST:ID. Very believable and charismatic, at least to me. Haven't seen much else besides that and those twenty minutes in Warhorse.

Okay well then trust me: you are definitely not alone in thinking he's hot. XD I think there's a bit of backlash against him now because of how obnoxious tumblr is about him (also against Sherlock). Tumblr ruins lots of things, you're smart to not have one. :|

If he'd been an original villain I think I would have been okay with him but he's playing Khan so I'm very UGH NO about it. |3

I was wary before, having read all the spoilers I could get my hands on. Wasn't expecting much of the movie in general after that, so I was pretty okay with him as Khan. But I would have liked it if they had been a little bit more daring in rewriting him.

I would have liked it if they'd picked Naveen Andrews to play him. He's British so he has the accent but he's of Indian descent so no whitewashing! PLUS HE'S GORGEOUS AAAAAHHHHH. My crush on this man knows no bounds. Even though he likes older women and I'm 17 years younger than him. ;3;

But oh well. What's done is done. I'll just picture Naveen when I inevitably start reading Khan/Spock and Khan/Kirk fic. XD

How would you have liked them to be more daring? I think I was expecting a slightly more sympathetic character tbh; I kept reading reviews that stated he was very sympathetic and while I could totally see that, it was difficult to sympathize with someone who was also so very brutal, I guess. |D

I had to to a quick google search because I've never even heard of him. Not bad! *g*

I can deal with the whitewashing - in this current climate I'd rather have a white British terrorist guy, if we have to have one in the first place.

Hard to describe, really. You could probably argue that a re-write would make in an original character anyway.

Hey you need to try and get hold of Amazing Grace. Seriously, he is so adorable in that film, and has a lovely bromance with Ioan Gruffud. It's a really wonderful film.

Also he was in a drama on the BBC last year where he seemed to have cotton wool in his cheeks, I didn't like it much, but some people really did.
