But the question you're not answering is, What makes it different, or better?

If your answer is that Clarice/Hannibal is canon, how do you feel about people shipping it before it became canon? Was that different? Why or why not?

I wasn't even in the online fandom before Clarice/Hannibal was made canon, so that's a meaningless question.

Besides someone shipping Clarice/Hannibal before was on to something.

But this, no, because there isn't any chemistry for me there, creepy or not.

Okay, I don't mean to try to tell you that you should enjoy a pairing you don't like. But you do understand, don't you, that what you're saying is that you like Clarice/Hannibal better than you like Will/Hannibal, and not that one is better than the other?

Clarice/Hannibal was presented better. More chemistry in their characters. More interesting for me. Better plot development.

Will/Hannibal isn't clicking for me.
