I feel you. My neighbor had a huge magnolia tree in his yard that he cut down when I was 17 or so. That thing was huge and sitting under it was awesome. :(

Oh, damn :( In my case, I'm pretty sure that tree was planted when the house was built in the 50s. We lived there, and the tree had been there, for basically my entire life - we moved in when I was seven, moved out just prior to turning twenty-six.
