I actually heard that Annie being Jewish was a 4chan thing, 'cause she's got a big nose. There isn't really anything else about her character that seems Jewish to me...

1. It's completely misleading, and not at all clear that it's in any way a joke. If vethica wants some Jews, Annie is not the way to go.

2. 4chan is notoriously anti-Semitic, and saying she's Jewish because "she has a big nose" is actually really gross. Also some of the memes going around.

I don't feel sorry at all.

For what it's worth, I appreciate your having explained the joke. Even if it wasn't much of one.

Also, I just Google Imaged Annie and... her nose isn't even that big?? Like, it is only marginally bigger than other anime noses??? But whatever floats 4chan's boat, I guess.

sa hey, I never said it was a particularly *intelligent* joke. And Annie pinged me more as Russian than anything else, personally.
Considering how little nose most anime characters have, I guess Annie's seemed ~enormous to them. But it's 4chan, so...
