Yes! I loved Martha. I think coming after Rose would be hard for anyone, but she was fantastic in her own right and I love her arc in her season of becoming stronger and eventually not taking the Doctor's shit.

My favorite companion's Rose, but I have a major soft spot for Martha.

(and one of the biggest things I search for in Doctor Who fic is Rose and Martha friendship fic, because I want those two to be besties. Donna can come along too).
