What's with all this "FAY IS SOOO GAY! STFU HE IS NOT STRAIGHT" stuff? What's wrong with an androgynous flamboyant male being straight or not sexual defined? Are people that keen on stereotypes? D:

Of course, I don't read TRC anymore (xxxHOLIC is what I prefer), but even through what I read it was hard to define him a sexuality preference outside of fandom and innuendo.

People are more upset because Vic said something that was canon wasn't. Kurogane/Fay is very heavily implied and pretty much canon if you're at all familiar with the way CLAMP tells stories, so that's where a lot of the "shut up he's gay" comes from. Also, Vic said Kurogane/Fay was all in the fangirl's heads when it isn't, so people got pissed.

Well, even with their more obvious pairings like Yukito and Touya, they're still rather vague as to what's actually going on... therefore nothing's really canon as long as it's vague. Fanservice can just be no more than innuendo, after all. Implied doesn't always mean canon.

I can imagine people being pissed that Vic said something... infact, everytime I hear the guy talk I want to uppercut the guy in the balls for being obnoxious.

While he shouldn't have said that it was all in the fangirl's heads, it really is just perspective.

I'm actually one of the few fans who is convinced it's not canon unless it's explicitly stated, so I agree with you, but that is the majority of fandom opinion. :/
