I always thought Jayne had a crush on Kaylee. But, for some reason, I ship just about anyone on this show with anyone else.

Jayne/Kaylee? I can dig it. Simon/Kaylee? Yeah, I'm down.

But I have even weird ones, like...

Jayne/River
Mal/Kaylee
Mal/River

Although I don't read much slash, I could see any combination of the guys together. (Book and Jayne? Totally! ...I'm weird.)

Except Zoe and Wash. Those two are fine as is.


(...although I could totally see Zoe/Mal. >_>)

oh my goodness, none of those are weird! firefly lends itself to harmonious shipping :)

i myself adore jayne/river and mal/river. and yeah, even a bit of zoe/mal too.

truly weird is simon/river (which im down with, on occasion!)

I tend to think that on a Joss Whedon show, there's no such thing as a crack pairing. At least among the main cast. He's a giant fanboy and loves to insert evidence for every pairing.

Hehe, Firefly does have ... just all sorts of combinations, doesn't it?

(I'm kind of okay with Simon/River, too! Haha.)
