Anon. I love, love, love woobie fics too. I have so many woobie Loki fics bookmarked it isn't even funny. I like evil, badass Loki too. But sometimes you just want to see them get the shit kicked out of them.

I have several:

Abaddon. Loki gets captured by a serial killer. No ships. I also recommend this author's other fic:

Nine Lives where Loki turns into a cat and hides at Tony's place. They eventually become friendly, then, iirc, become a couple.

Compassion, part 2. Loki shows up at Steve's doorstep, and Steve takes care of him. Could be shippy or not, depending on your goggles. As far as I can find, there is no part one; that's just the title.

I'll be Yours. Loki has a theory that Thor has the piece of soul meant for him. No ship.

Liesmith. Adapted from myth, Loki's mouth is shut. No ship, I think.

Unmade. During the movie, Loki loses his staff, and the Avengers get ahold of it. Someone (I don't remember who) decides they like Loki under the magic. I have this tagged with "consent issues", so take care.

What Once Was Lost Frost Giants kidnap Loki back because they view him as having been a hostage. Long, long thread. Not so much angsty, but a lot of soul searching.

The Begonia Incident. Thor shows up at Loki's under the influence of sex pollen. Lots of resent. From my NSFW folder, so explicit sex scene.

Aww, just go for it, OP! I've enjoyed plenty of serious fic authors' random guilty pleasure fics. It's generally a sort of fun way to "get to know" the author's other sides, and it can be a fun little break if I'm bingeing on a specific person's fic.
