While I wouldn't be surprised if some people actually feel this way (if only for the merchandise), this secret feels more like an attempt to start wank, only I'm not really sure what kind of wank. Villains are people too? They're just misunderstood? Princesses come in all shapes and ages? Purple is the best color? If confusion was your aim, thumbs up.

wasn't there a secret a while back where they pointed out purple and green are the go-to colours for baddies? maleficent, the joker, sometimes the hulk, etc.

I vaguely remember this, yes. I was more going for the old Babylon 5 joke.

Though, now that you mention it. When green and purple are at war, you get the Drazi. When they're together, you get Susan Ivanova ... or Maleficent.

You're right. They definitely go better together. Either way, really.

Oh man, I was so into purple in 8th grade. I had this whole outfit, purple shirt, purple pants, purple socks. I even got a little bit of purple tint for my glasses (not entirely sure why my parents indulged me there). I thought purple was the best thing ever. I don't know when that stopped, I mean, I still like it, but I can't say I've felt so intensely about a color since.

That is great. I can't say I ever had such a purple outfit (alas!) but it's been my favorite color since forever. There was a dark period in my life (sixth grade) when purple=barney=stupid and gay, and so I pretended it wasn't my favorite color to keep from being made fun of. I'm still ashamed that that was my reaction ):

Thankfully I ended up giving no fucks later on and proudly donned my "purple is the best color ever" badge once again. I have very intense emotions about purple (and yellow too) now.
