What I'm saying is that people should learn how to understand nonverbal communication, instead of deciding that people who can't communicate verbally are beyond help.

Autism isn't the problem. Society is.

(Also, if you were suddenly able to hear, that's all that would change. You wouldn't process all sensory information differently. You wouldn't process information differently. You wouldn't be an entirely different person if you were hearing.)

...did you really just tell a deaf person they would process information exactly the same as a hearing person? Right after they talked about how being deaf makes you experience things that hearing people don't?

Look, your autism experience is your own. But it's not everyone else's who is autistic and it certainly isn't anyone who is hearing impaired so you should probably not make those statements except for the ones you're qualified to make (i.e. your personal views).

autism gives them insight into every other disorder in addition to every incarnation and level of autism though don't you know?
