One of my friends, who is a special ed teacher, said she thought Ariana Dumbledore was autistic, or the magical equivalent of it. Fit a lot of the same characteristics of the kids she teaches.

I thought Ariana was fine until those boys did...whatever vague thing they did to her...and she was extremely traumatized by it to the point where it affected her magic?

That's why I said the magical equivalent of it, if such a thing existed. Not like "the autism specific to wizard folk", but "autism caused by magic".

...which kind of sounds like the same thing, now that I think of it, but I mean it in a way that the boys traumatized her and did whatever to make the magic back up inside of her and damage her brain. ._.
