They're sort of like giant, invulnerable zombies? A lot of them have creeper smiles and derp faces, and others look like Body Worlds refugees and armor-plated MMA fighters. They're humanoid, but they don't talk or think and they don't have even base animal instincts. And apparently they don't need to eat anything, but they eat the shit out of people anyway because reasons.
