I hope you're trolling. If you're not, then... well, I'd tell you to do it yourself if you care that much, but I'm afraid you might take me seriously.

(True story: Middle-school classmate of my sister's was hounding the teacher. Teacher said "Why don't you just staple your knee?" Student promptly put two staples in his leg. Class and teacher freak the fuck out.)

This one dumbass I knew fuckin stapled his shirt to his chest. Not for a dare, he did it just because. There was no blood when he pulled it out strangely enough.

PS, I'm glad people in this thread are reacting the way they should.

LOL, he sure showed that teacher!

...please be trolling

I think it would be creepy, because it would take such a huge obsession with being/portraying that character to do something that permanent to themself just for a costume.

Awesome, yes, but creepy.

That's a little messed up OP.

(Anonymous) 2013-05-26 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, you really are a terrible person, aren't you?

...but then you come to your senses and realize that wouldn't be such a good thing, right?

right?

Okay, YOU sew your lips together.

I know, right? Most cosplayers are such pansies. When I cosplay Ed Elric, I do it RIGHT.

(Well, half right and half left, because I have goddamn dedication.)

this made me LOL ;)

...Wouldn't make-up be a lot less painful?

(Anonymous) 2013-05-27 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
Rofl, what?
Why are you disappointed? Do you like seeing people hurt themselves?
Or are you just one of those who take cosplay too damn seriously and want everything to be "110% accurate"?

No matter what, I really hope you're trolling.

I once asked Mom if I could borrow a kitchen knife so I could give myself a cool scar like Captain Harlock. I was 7 at the time...

She said no.

Am I the only one who thought this was amusing? In like an "awkward-nervous chuckle-while-glancing-around-the-room" sort of way?
