So, I haven't really written anything in years other than college essays from hell, and I kind of want to get back into but have no idea where to start. Do you guys have suggestions/advice?

Perhaps you could take a prompts from an anon meme? There are plenty of memes, and not all prompts are R-rated, so you'd have a variety of choices.

I probably will look at the fandom's anon meme, but it's...kind of a monster to navigate so I'm a little intimidated to try ^^;; But it certainly would be a place to start!

It's more that the places that used to track the meme have fallen behind so it's a lot wading through stuff, but I'll manage. Thanks for the offer though!

In regards to original stuff, or fanfiction? If it's just looking for ideas/inspiration, anon memes (ie: kink/fic memes) are decent...ish. For the most part someone will be happy to have a fill, and it's also a testing ground where you can get light feedback if you're just starting out.

Also, fan_flashworks has weekly themed challenges. The submissions aren't necessarily restricted by size, so it's way to get out quick hits while also thinking about how to incorporate the theme, whether it's literal, abstract, or whatever.
