part of me is disappointed but at the same time i kind of expected as much from this place. we've had similar threads in the past that more or less boiled down to "trans* people are weird/fakers."

there will always be those who don't see us as being real or whatever, as well as those who would wish us harm. the people commenting here probably don't realise that their transphobic or otherwise hateful views brew violence. i just don't think they understand, or want to understand.

but for what it's worth, there are a lot of accepting and embracing people out there too.
