I can like what they bring to the table too. It just depends on my mood if I want to see fanworks of supporters or haters.

Defending your interests has always been a pointless endeavor anyways. More people should chill tbh. Someone really doesn't like this thing you like? Oh well?

But if someone doesn't like the things I like then that means we're different! It's like you're telling me they're a completely different person or something. That's just crazy talk. I'm pretty sure everyone else is just me but cooler.

That's actual legit reasoning for folk who like to call troll on everything. It's probably why you also end up with members of sites, be it here, reddit, tumblr, 4chan, SA, and so on acting as if each other site is some kind of monster. "gb2tumblr/place i don't like", eh?

Wait, me thinking everyone else is my personality clone that I get frustrated with when they don't conform is the reason or me thinking that everyone else is an incomprehensible other person is the reason?
cloud_riven: Close-up of an open-mouthed piglet! Is it recoiling? Or side-eyeing? Maybe saying, "HEY YOU TWO SHOULD KISS"? Mystery! (eeeeeeehhhhhh)

Misread your clones and coolness. Weirdly enough, that's actually something I've ran into on 4chan, except nobody is cooler than the person who is typing, and how it must be impossible that there are differing opinions because clearly everyone must think just like them.

S'cool. I just thought that you were turning the conversation serious, not misreading me. You could have gotten away with it! ;D

Well that's just frightening. I mean, isn't this something we're taught in preschool? (Or whatever other people's equivalent would be around that age.)

I love reading satire about my fandoms. I love being able to poke fun of my favourite shows. It lets you take a step back and judge it in a lighthearted way and critical way.

Reading what the haters say about a show can be amusing as well. It can shed light on problems or aspects you never thought about.

I'm often a fan because of something specific it brings to the table, not because I think it's perfect or the acting is great. Same with books. I can get something out of a book and still think some things about it are dumb as rocks.

Either extreme is too simplistic if you ask me. I want to read the criticisms from the people who know what they love about it as well :)

sounds like you're doing it right. I love both fandom and parodies, too.
