The Doctor, Feanor and his sons (I don't who I should really see as the main protagonist of the Silmarillion) and uh, I think Mary Crawley.

Hmm... the Doctor is obviously good.
Feanor and his sons are obviously badass, but I have a feeling that having them on my team might simply mean I get fed to the zombies.
And Mary? Yep, I'm pretty sure I'm a goner. I might be so in awe of her that I wouldn't even notice the zombies approaching. XD
