Re: Earliest encounters with feminism in fiction from your childhood?
(Anonymous) 2013-05-28 03:29 am (UTC)(link)I mean, I've encountered lots of stories where someone pointed out after the fact, "Oh, that's a really awesome female character/story!" and I'd go "Oh, yeah, well, I guess it is. Cool!" But I don't think I've ever watched something with an eye toward whether it's feminist or not and been struck one way or the other. These things just don't ping that much on my radar. (And yes, I am female.)
