In a small fandom I can understand doing that - thing is it was never said that this behavior was happening in a small fandom, and if you're going say 'The only reason I didn't like your fic was because it had a kink I didn't like!' I'm honestly going to wonder what the point was...since...if you don't like it, don't read it [or skip the parts that have it.] Saying 'I don't like your kink' really doesn't add much of value to a review since it's entirely based on preferences that have nothing to do with writing. But that's just me, and [admittedly] my response would be to roll my eyes and ignore that part of the review.

tl;dr: I can understand it in a small fandom, but as a whole it doesn't seem to add anything to a review beyond 'IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD BUT YOU ADDED SOMETHING [that, presumably you like] THAT I DON'T!'
