I'm reading about the World Showcase and I think I would have liked that more.

That's what I love about it. The ride in Norway, Maelstrom, is my favorite ride in all of WDW. The movie in France is really old but it's amazing and you can get a list of the soundtrack in the gift shop when you leave if you ask for one. I mostly just like walking around and browsing in the shops. Many of the countries don't have rides or movies but you can still spend a lot of time in them. And the ones that do have movies are all awesome. The China movie is mindblowing, as is the Canada movie. And the food selections throughout World Showcase are hard to beat :)

Will you get to go to EPCOT? Or just Magic Kingdom? Magic Kindom is usually great but they closed a bunch of stuff for remodeling and rebuilding, and most of it isn't open yet :( But I always enjoyed Frontierland and the Haunted House is one of my favorites. I don't care as much about stuff like Space Mountain, though.

It was just MK today. Though hopefully I can get to EPCOT before the end of the year.

Honestly, I felt that Tomorrowland could be a little spruced up. I didn't mind watching the little children dress up, but I was surprised at the amount of rides that were 'sit on something and watch' and not 'we are going to carry you at breakneck paces'.

Some of the floor shows were cool, like Laugh Factory and Great Escape.

I don't really Great Escape much. It used to be Aliens and it was pretty much the same as it is now, but it wasn't marketed towards children. When we went to Great Escape, they kept having to escort families out because kids were hysterical with fear. At one point they had to stop the show because a kid went totally berserk and started attacking everyone around him because he thought they were the ones poking him and stuff. It was bedlam and I swore I'd never go again.

I hope you get to go to EPCOT before the end of the year! It's such an amazing place and there's so much to see and do.

Oh wow, that...isn't good. I'm not overwhelmingly sad that people don't like it, especially if they walked into the park with high hopes, but even I was a little frightened when things starting happening.

Disney Land will always be the far superior Disney park for my money, though.

Walt Disney World isn't just one park. And they are allowed to update the older rides there so they don't break down all the time. If Walt Disney had lived until Walt Disney World opened, Disneyland would have been demolished 40 years ago because it was already too small, too outdated, and dealing with California's laws isn't worth the trouble.

Agreed. I can't afford to go to Florida and spend a few thousand dollars to go to an amusement park for a day or two.

I fricking love Disney, but Magic Kingdom wasn't my favorite either. Not unless someone were to allow me to just ride Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion all day. I was more into Epcot and MGM (now Movie Studios or whatever). Animal Kingdom is pretty awesome if you like zoos. Someday, when I have money, I'm dragging Noodle to Star Wars Days.

The loss of Mister Toad's Wild Ride is a tragedy.

Gaston's Tavern was pretty entertaining (for someone who just stood outside and sung along). I should have tried that drink though.

I had just finally begun to get over my bitterness about Mr. Toad's Wild Ride when they ripped out Snow White's Scary Adventures. I don't think I'll ever be able to get over either one now.
