It's possible he doesn't care or it might not be an easy fix. I had a horrid mole like growth (flatter than that one but bigger) removed from my jaw line five years ago and the consultant tried to put me off by saying the scar might end up being worse. It turned out to be bullshit so yeah, in my case I got that shit cut off - though it was in a different place to his so that might also be a factor.

(Anonymous) 2013-05-29 12:29 am (UTC)(link)I have a wart next to my eye, a bit higher than him. I've had it for years, and frankly, it's invisible to me. Maybe it's the same for him. I guess it's better than obsessing about it (though I sometimes wonder if people who look at me focus on it or not :P).
