If they have shared that crappy neighborhood with these people, they might have witnessed firsthand that their neighbors made their shitty start even worse with their own stupid behavior. I respect far more someone who has managed to improve their behavior, even if they get holier-than-thou, than someone who didn't even try.

I also grew up in a ghetto and am one of the few people that I know from there that got out. Most are now pushing drugs/in jail/stuck there - and yeah. For some of them it's because they knowingly made bad choices. But...that doesn't have anything to do with their race, and neither does 'acting ghetto'. Referring to it as 'acting black' is honestly pretty racist [imo] and not cool either.

P.S. Wtf does 'sound white' mean? There are just as many ignorant, low class sounding white people as any other race.

Oh, please. She learned it by watching tv and listening to audiobooks, which everyone can do (audiobooks = free at the library and libraries are free too). If they want out of the ghetto, let them learn to not act ghetto, it isn't that hard to do.

What I can't stand is people who insist on being helpless and not learning to help themselves and who insist on pulling others down to their level just to make themselves feel better.

Stella, I get that you don't like this person and their attitude, but... aren't they kinda admitting their racism above? It's not really something they aren't claiming to have.
