And I think that's the key difference. Eridan seemed to have some new insight, even if that did come from being forced into a different perspective.

Vriska, getting a chance to literally experince things as the target of her own bullshit, seemed to have learned next to nothing. Any self-insight she garnered from that has done nothing more then make her rethink what her story's narrative... not make it one that had more than one main character.

Exactly. She's not functioning correctly. You can't really blame her for it, since she is apparently not able to change, but then again, what the hell do you do with someone not able to change?

I wonder if Tavrisprite lasting longer would have made a difference? As it is, I think the only thing she picked up was 'sucks to be Tavros', which she probably knew already.

Probably not. I posted this before but...

While Vriska obviously identifies with the spider (correctly) her actual internal mechanisms are far more that of the scorpion. Specifically the one drowning on the back of a dead frog cause hey... nature.

Edit: My headcanon is that the relevant universe gave these traits to the scorpion because of Vriska.
