I've seen her ship other yaoi pairings in other fandoms too not genderbent.

I don't know. As a lesbian it irks me that people use shipping as a surrogate for queer acceptance. Just because you like slash doesn't make you any more open or closed off to gay rights than someone who doesn't. It really irritates me when fangirls say they're for gay rights because then their otp can get married (I'm paraphrasing). It cheapens it. But that's just my opinion.

...because it irritates me when yaoi fangirls start creaming themselves over LGBT issues when really all they care about is fanfic butt sex. It offends me, more so than someone who genderbends occasionally and does so tastefully and non-offensively.

If you don't like it, don't read it. And I'm going to take my own advice and stop following this thread >(
