ugh well that's awful. is there anyone else you can talk to about taking her in? a mutual friend maybe?

We have a mutual friend, but she's spending the first half of the summer in Guyana with her dad. :(

It's always been just us three loners, basically. My friend doesn't have any other family (just her fucking parents), and all my siblings live at home. I'm desperately trying to think of anyone right now, but those two are the only ones I actually talk to.

Hell, if I got kicked out right now I wouldn't even know where *I* would go.

seconding what others have said about looking for a youth shelter. i'm not sure what area your friend is in though. you mentioned downthread she is in NJ, here are some shelters i found in the state:

iiii don't know what else i can do to help but this stuff drives me nuts. i live nowhere near NJ.
