What the hell kids' shows are you watching and who is this "everyone"?

Because I guarantee you there are more lol-so-randum senseless bullshit cartoons out there that probably make children dumb as a sack of rocks than there are "kids shows meant to teach lessons."

Invader Zim's a pretty good example of everything that's out there these days. Even if it's not out anymore. Someone mentioned Rocko's Modern Life upthread too. This is why people shouldn't let TV raise their kids for them.

Considering that's the format of the show -- "What I learned about friendship today!" moralizing -- I'd say that is basically the point.

But lessons about friendship aren't lessons about what to do if your kidnapped. Not every behavior by the mane six needs to be lesson related.
