For me, TS3 lost a lot of the features I loved from TS2 and didn't add enough new features to make up for it. I hated the way you could only have one active household at a time, the CAS was far more complicated than it needed to be and still all the sims ended up looking more or less the same. The only thing I liked about TS3 was that you could walk around the town freely and go to other peoples' houses and eat their food for a change, but my computer isn't the greatest so I couldn't even experience the best of that.
