Yeah. I can get liking the attention, but she sounds like she care more about that than the games she plays.
I have meet many similar girl "gamers" and it's thanks to them that many of us, who are actually gamers, get labeled as "fake" for being female.

What, exactly, makes it sound like she likes the attention more than the games, as opposed to just liking the games.

And also, what's wrong with liking the attention more than the games - is there some sort of liking a game level that you have to hit before you're allowed to play it? Instead of, I just fucking feel like it?

Oh please, it's not because of 'those girls' who cast all female gamers in a bad light; that was going to happen no matter what girls did. Girls were going to be mocked and shunned and misunderstood from day one, so how about actually blaming the guys who do that instead of perpetuating the 'fake girl gamer' along with them?

Please. 'Fake gamer girls' aren't to blame for why women get attacked in the gaming community. Men and women who think it's okay to accuse attractive women who are proud of being attractive of being sluts and whores are the ones ruining it for everybody.
If there weren't women taking sexy pictures of themselves with controllers the misogynist men would just find another excuse to paint women as sluts and women with low self-esteem could blame all their problems on the 'sluts'.
