Personally, it's not a bad game, but as a sequel, it was a pretty bad one because it's geared towards a very different style of playing. TS2 (and 1, based on what I've heard about it) was really campy, ridiculous, and easy to control. TS3 was more realistic in that everyone moved at the same pace and there was a lot more chance involved. I know some people who like both, but I think that difference is why there are a lot of people who only like one or the other.
