Just listened to the tumblr post. Based on what sounds like really poor recording quality, I'm going to assume this was made by an indie band that never made it very far off the ground, which would explain why no one is finding anything. They could be a little band that's only known in their local area, even.

I agree with whoever suggested that you should ask whoever you got it from, if you ever happen to run into them again. I don't think you'll have much luck otherwise.

I'm starting to fear this is the case. Thanks for the help, anyway!
