How could SEGA raise hell about Sally kicking the bucket? Sally's not even their character. o_o

They wanted to use her in some promotional thing, I think. Or maybe they just didn't want a major character killed off (this was before they decided to go "darker and edgier" themselves with stuff like ShTH).
