Could you tell your side of the story? I'd like it if you did. I'd much rather stay civil about this and find out more about what happened than point fingers.

Hate to be a bitch, but it doesn't concern you in the slightest. Even if someone gets their kicks from slandering and spreading around shit to get off, it doesn't concern you, bottom line, even if you're interest has been piqued. It's not your business, and we're not about to just start telling everyone the story like it's some grand old tale for all to see.

That's fine. I really don't know what to think; I guess I can just be disappointed at the way this turned out.

Say it's not true. Say she didn't fake it all.

There's more to it than just your average "fake death", if I can even call it that. Few people know the full story, but I happen to know. I'm the friend you've been talking about. There's a lot of stuff involved, a lot of emotions. You have NO CLUE what we all went through. You have NO CLUE what HE went through. You have no clue who Riyu really is.

The story isn't for me to tell. But I don't think he deserves to be bashed and badmouthed so badly. There's a fucking person behind the whole thing, no matter what your assumptions are. And spreading those assumptions really isn't the brightest thing to do.

I have left very few comments since this started; I was not involved in talking about Riyu's friends because, obviously, I'm pretty in the dark about all of this. I'm pretty hurt about it, but I haven't got a right to be. I guess I just wanted answers about someone who was someone else.

Yes, I think it was mean that some (including me) were fooled, but I'm sure that everyone had their reasons.

Hurting a number of people is not okay, no matter how bad your own life is.

There has been no bashing or badmouthing. Only the truth. He is a she who faked it all. She made up Riyu, she made up his boyfriend who kept everyone informed when he was dying in the fake hospital, she made up his heart problems, she made up his death. How is that bashing?

Everyone here deserves to hear the truth. If you're not willing to give that to them, that's too bad. It's no skin off my back. You and her are the one who will have to deal with hurt feelings and broken trust.

cloaked will never regain my trust again. i actually considered her a friend, too.

It's funny, how suddenly it became my fault, simply because I'm not telling a story that is NOT for me to tell. A story, mind you, that left me hurt for months, more than you could possibly imagine.

And you don't even have the guts to tell me who you are. Good bye, then.

I don't see why you should absolutely know if you weren't even involved. I don't think you deserve anything, if all you're gonna do is going around saying how disgusting Riyu is.

You're saying everyone who was truly hurt but not 'in' on the secrets doesn't deserve anything because they weren't directly involved with 'Riyu'. Okay.

In all honesty, if you know the truth and won't tell, I think you're being very selfish. A lot of people outside of the "few people" in your little circle were hurt, have you ever considered that?

just because i didn't personally know them didn't mean that i didn't read their fic, or occasionally watch their journal. and when they died, instead of studying for exams, i typed up a post dedicated to them in my lj; left comments of "oh my god i'm so sorry for your loss" on mutual friends' ljs because they were hurting; genuinely FELT BAD
