You can complain about how the pairing was shown, you can complain about the names, but the pair itself? No.

not the op. yes they can complain about the pairing, even if it is 'official' now.

I agree, tho. it still doesn't make it a bad book. I hated the epilogue. it felt tacked on but the books were all still enjoyable in spite of it and I can easily edit out the epilogue.
