Yeah, this show is like the terminally-ill dog that the owners refuse to put down. You see it lying in their backyard, in sad shape, and you wish someone would just shoot it and put it out of its misery. Maybe I just feel this way because I have some friends in real-life who are obnoxious assholes about this show, but someone needs to give Naruto a mercy-kill. Let it be done, I say!

I predict that it's either going to end really gayly with Sasuke and Naruto being cokages to throw one last bone to the sasuke/naruto fans and to disappoint everyone else or it'll end with Sasuke and Naruto dying and Sakura ends up Hokage for some reason

or the whole thing ends up taking place in the mind of an autistic child with a snowglobe

Yep. Sasuke is redeemed now and wants to be Hokage. He's fighting with Naruto and Sakura to defeat Madara. Oh, and Sakura is the next Tsunade.

to be fair, i don't think Sakura being the next Tsunade was all that unexpected, but it's impressive how kishimoto made sakura's "power up" feel as stupidly random as it did

Well at least the Sakura thing makes sense but what the shit is with Sasuke wanting to be Hokage? Why would anyone in the village possibly want him to be Hokage, redemption or not? I guess a lot has changed sinced I last read Naruto (like two years ago)

He said he didn't give a shit what any of the villagers thought of him, which seems a wonderful first step to taking command over them.

He wanted to be Hokage because...why the fuck not, I guess. No, well, it had to do with Madara being co-founder of the leaf and he wanted to protect the village his clan co-creator, or something like that.

Oh, and seconding above. Some of the others asked if he was being serious and he basically replies "Bitch I might be"
