That's pretty sad and you should invest your time and energy into something you actually like.

Eh, some people just have fun hating on things. Like half the people who watch reality shows.

Doesn't sound like they're having much fun, though.

I always suspect people like that have rather bland lives and need to go looking for something to get their dander up about.

I hate Twilight. Always have, always will. Not the secret.

The secret? I'm so (pathetically) invested in my dislike of this book and movie series that if someone actually wrote a sequel to it in the near or far future wherein Bella popped up, and realized that she threw her life away before she'd done anything with it, and has to come to terms with it, I would read it so. damn. hard. Splitting up with Edward would not have to be a requirement.

...Well. This is awkward. Also considerably late to the party.

(Or, y'know, vampires dealing with a highly advanced spacefaring society. That could be cool, too.)

B!S: I write Mary Sue fanfiction (not of Twilight, in case you're wondering...), which I never post. It's on my hard drive, where no one can find it. Wish fulfillment is a lovely thing. Indulgence is such cheap therapy, lol.

There are probably fics of that happening.

I share your sentiments - that's why we have fics.

You know, I like that story idea. It may have a bit too much common sense for Twilight, tho.

OP, I am in utter agreement with you. I watched half of Twilight with a friend, just so we could make nasty, snide jokes about Edward and what an idiot he is and how Bella threw away her life and is flat and one-dimensional. So, yup. I agree so much. thank you!
